Celebrate National Fitness Day with UoM Sport and Active Manchester!
Wednesday 16 September is National Fitness Day, the UK’s biggest celebration of health, movement and physical activity, and we’re inviting the University of Manchester community to get involved!
Whether you’re an experienced gym-goer, a regular class attendee, or looking to take the first step on your fitness journey, National Fitness Day is the perfect opportunity to discover how movement can support your health, wellbeing and everyday life.
At UoM Sport and through our Active Manchester, we believe fitness should be accessible, welcoming and enjoyable for everyone. That’s why we’re opening our doors with a range of opportunities to help you move more, feel better and try something new before the the launch of the new Active Manchester timetables for the 26/27 year. The new timetables return with some old favourites and a load of new classes to try out, both online and in person. Full class details can be found here.
