If you are not tempted by joining our Athletic Union Men’s Football Club, did you know you can play more informal competition as part of our intra-university Campus ISS League, the biggest of its kind. A well established league that contains fifty teams playing across five separate divisions. Games are played at 2:00pm on Wednesdays on the 26 full size pitches at Wythenshawe Sports ground. Teams must have registered an interest in April/May at the end of the academic year to secure entry into the league for the next season due to its popularity. Exisiting teams register here.
Registering a new team
If you are a new team and have any questions about joining the ISSL 11-a-Side League please contact firstname.lastname@example.org. All captains and/or managers are required to attend the league's pre-season meeting, before the first ISSL fixture. At this meeting captains receive all relevant information for the year, including a handbook, player registration forms and of course fixtures.
For more information contact email@example.com or drop into the SPORT Manchester Office.
Please note: Refunds are not possible once a team is registered and paid in full, as fixtures and league structures must be planned well in advance of the start of the season.
