About the Club

Korfball is a mixed gender Dutch sport, which many people play for the first time at uni. Anyone who joins will get a chance to play. We have matches on Sundays where we play other local teams, and socials almost every week. We also have two training sessions a week in the Armitage Sports Centre. We have an influx of new people to the sport every year, so don't be afraid to come along and try something new!

Club Philosophy

The club prides itself on having a wide mix of players; from 1st years to PhD students, all here to have a great time and make new friends too. Korfball is a chance to play a fast paced, skilled, mixed gender team sport, with the opportunity to progress quickly into the highest calibre of the sport. We have weekly socials and you’ll get the chance to play in tournaments around the country. Every Easter we head over to Amsterdam to play in an international tournament and we sometimes play in a Slovakian tournament over the summer too! So come and get involved with an exciting new sport and become a part of our friendly club!

We have 3 teams which compete in a league with other local teams as well as all participating in BUCS National competitions.
