Come and join use for a lovely day of pure self pampering at the Wellbeing Rooms, Simon Building Saturday 7th May 10.30am – 4.30pm, this will be our first Yoga retreat since 2019.

The event is subsidised by Sporticipate so it’s a great offer at just £10.00 for Student, £15.00 Staff and £20.00 Public.

What’s included in the Yoga retreat?

The day will start at 10.30am where you can register for your Yoga class and a massage time slot.

All classes commence at 11.00am and offer – Iyengar Yoga, Hatha Vinyasa Yoga and Vin to Yin Yoga.

Classes will run side by side in various locations of the Wellbeing rooms.

A light Vegetarian /Vegan lunch (Benugo, café) will be included plus refreshments throughout the day.

The finale of the day we will all gather in the large group room and experience the amazing Relaxing Gong Sound Bath experience with Jane Blackburn. Relax in a comfortable position with a blanket & cushions for a one hour immersion, in healing sound where gong practitioner Jane plays the gongs to activate their full sonic potential and bathes the listener in waves of golden harmonics. Listeners typically experience a sense of connectedness and peace as the gongs clear blockages and restore the free flow of vital life energy. Listeners often describe seeing beautiful colours behind their eyes, images, and symbols. Gong sound can be used to re-balance and tone the physical, emotional, and spiritual aspects. Excellent for de-stressing, depression, fatigue, loneliness, and good for more balance and harmony.
