About TASS

TASS is a Sport England funded partnership delivered across education institutions across England. The programme supports talented athletes in education with performance sport experts and experienced practitioners. 

The University of Manchester is proud to have been a TASS Delivery Site since the scheme began in 2004. Since then, over 150 athlete have been supported at our site. 

A range of expert support services are available to TASS athletes at the University of Manchester including:

  • Physiotherapy 
  • Strength and conditioning 
  • Personal and lifestyle advisors
  • Nutrition support 
  • Sport Psychology support
  • TASS Medical Scheme and Bupa Healthy Minds
