Whether you are looking for to participate in free Sporticipate activities, to play casually with recreational campus league teams, or to be part of our Team Manchester competitive program, we have something to help everyone become active!

Fair details

The Refreshers Fair will be taking place on Tuesday January 31st in Academy 1 on Oxford Road, next to the Students Union.

It will be open from 10am-4pm for you to come and look around and ask questions. It’s not too late to join a club or find out about Sport at Manchester, whatever you are interested in!

The following sports clubs will be there in attendance, but feel free to come and stop by the UoM Sport table and ask questions about anything!

Can You Tell Me More About Sport Scholarships?

We offer a comprehensive package of support to high performing athletes. Our services will help you develop and excel across all aspects of your sporting and university life. 

We pride ourselves on our person-centred approach, shaping your scholarship support based on your journey and your needs as an individual. Whether you have an existing support team (such as English Institute of Sport support) or need our expert practitioners to support your development, we work with you from the outset to coordinate support that matters, placing you at the very centre of all decisions.

How Much Does It Cost To Join a Sport Club?

Club memberships generally range from £50-130 for the year, this is for a x12 month membership. Clubs set their own membership prices, more can be found on their minisites.

What Fitness Classes Do You Do?

We offer a range of fitness classes at a variety of locations to support you being active.  We offer classes at the university Wellbeing RoomsArmitage Sports Centre and online in addition to activities at our partner facilities at the Manchester Aquatics Centre and Sugden Sports Centre.

Dependant on the activity, sessions can be free to access, part of a membership or paid for sessions giving flexibility to choose when and where is right for you. To see what is happening, please checkout our timetables.
