UoM Staff Summer Strength and Conditioning Programme
Would you like to improve your knowledge and levels of strength and fitness? This summer the UoM Strength and Conditioning department are running an eight-week introduction to Strength and Conditioning for UoM Staff. Whether you already take part in a sport or are a complete beginner to exercise the programme will help to build your confidence in using the gym, with advice and guidance provided by our expert team.
The programme is designed for UoM staff at any age, fitness level, and ability. The focus of the programme will be to improve mobility, stability, coordination, and strength, whilst teaching technical competency through key movement patterns in a gym-based environment.
The Programme will take place through June and July (exact dates to be confirmed) and will involve a commitment to at least one session a week. The programme will be split into two 4-week blocks. Once the first 4-week block has been completed participants will have the option to complete a further 4-week block. There is no cost to participate in this programme for UoM staff.
